Sample Screen Shots: Television Animation, Music videos
The Frantics Reunion Special
Animated opening for the 1 hour tv special featuring this hilarious sketch comedy team, airing on CTV and the Comedy Network in early 2006.
Robin Black Music Video
Here I collaborated with Justin Lee and the talented folks at Ghostmilk Studios in Toronto who hired us to design characters, storyboards, and animation for the rockin' video "Why Don't You Love Me?". It was also fun to work with Chris Stone who designed some crazy characters. It's Robin Black and his band as he stomps around the city as a giant cartoon version of himself, raining terror on the folks below.
History Bites Mother Britain
Two animated cartoons were created for this hilarious 1 hour special, a spin-off of the original series. One is a quick humorous recap of the complete history of Canada in two minutes, the other retells the story of the Alaskan pan handle dispute.
Listen Missy
A very funny sketch comedy show created by Jane Ford for the W Network in Canada. These are screen shots of the opening and various little animations used through out the show to introduce the recurring characters in the live action skits.
History Bites
Nine cartoons for season 5 were created parodying Batman the Animated Series, Pokemon/Sailor Moon, Scooby Doo and a 50's "Duck and Cover" educational film, all written by the silly people who write History Bites. The show created by Rick Green, explores the premise of what if television had been around for the past 5,000 years? A great mix of sketch comedy, history and television parody.
Ranger Gord's Educational Films (The Red Green Show)
23 short animated cartoons were designed, directed and animated by Bryce Hallett for the Red Green Show (created by Steve Smith and Rick Green). Written by the show's writers, the cartoons feature a muscle bound version of Ranger Gord "teaching" little Red and little Harold "important safety tips". I.e. how to fend off an attack of flying squirrels or how to plant a cel phone to grow a new telephone pole. (aka Ranger Gord Cartoons, aka Ranger Gord's Wilderness Safety Tips)
Miscellaneous
A Tiny Little Love Story
This short was my student film from Sheridan College, an official selection at SAFO 99 (as a work in progress) in Ottawa. It was completed in my spare time a few years later.

Selected screen shots of a variety of animations and character designs for various clients.
